Dogs are not smarter than some husbands. They may appear to be because of the unconditional love thing, the obediance thing and the ability to wag their tails a little better. These attributes may on the surface seem desirable, but long term lead to habitual slobbering, self esteem issues and bad hips.

Not sure I agree...though some breeds of husbands are better than others especially when it comes to habitual slobbering, self esteem issues and bad hips.
